Introduction
The purpose was to replace and modify the control circuits of public panels (type: 3 out of 7) to convert them from manual to automatic operation without suspending the metro station.
As the shutdown was for only 4 hours daily after midnight with operating alternative panels.
Therefore, the metro and all related equipment were not affected at any moment.
This was a huge achievement and great work, as shown in the following scope and video:
Details of works
- Installing Ecofit plug and play solution for existing CB of “DFE LV MDB” 4P for (INC1, INC2, BC) CBs with equivalent Masterpact NW4P, Qty: 3 with new control auxiliary relays & digital meters.
- Installing Busbar modifications required to convert existing CB of “DFAC LV MDB” 3P for (INC1, INC2, BC) CBs with equivalent Masterpact NW 4P, Qty: 3 with new control auxiliary relays & digital meters.
- Installing Power contactor LC1F500,4P, QTY: 2 in series with Q02 CB in PE panel & Q06 630A CB in DFE panel) with a new control auxiliary relays to achieve 1 out of 2 operations.
- Replacing Q02 CB in PE panel & Q06, 630A CB in DFE panel with Qty: 2 new CBs (Fixed, Toggle, 4P, 50kA, Micrologic 2.3 NSX630).
- Replacing CB “C” model C16 ,160A CB in PE panel with a new CB (Fixed, Toggle, 4P, 50 kA, NSX250A).
- Replacing KM27.5 and KM27.6 in DFE panel with Qty: 2 new contactors LC1F265, 4P.
- Replacing CB “A&B” model C401, 400A CB in PE panel with Qty: 2 new Fixed, Toggle, 3P, 50kA, CB NSX400A.
- Replacing KM28.3, KM28.4, KM28.5 & KM28.6 in DFAC panel with Qty: 4 new contactors LC1F330, 4P.
- Installing new CB, 4P, fixed ,toggle ,50 KA, CB NSX250A, to be in series with KM27.5 in DFE panel.
- Installing new Fixed, Toggle,4P,50KA, CB NSX400A, QTY: 2 to be in series with KM28.5 & KM28.3 in DFAC panel.
- Assembly & installing 2 Control pallets (2×1)m at site for 2 ATS (4 out of 7) panel with necessary loose material.
